ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook: A Closer Look

Review by Daniel Luke

Due to its fast-rising success in the computer industry, Lenovo is considered as one of the most reliable brands in the world. Their latest creation, the ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook is another addition to their wide range of high tech gadgets and devices. The following highlights the advantages and disadvantages of this state-of-the-art gizmo.

The Advantages

The primary gain you can have from the ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook is its lightweight. It only weighs less than 3lbs., making it the lightest 14” ultrabook available in the market. It is very portable; anyone can carry it around with such convenience. Another advantage is its structure. As the name suggests, this ultrabook is made of carbon fibre materials that adds strength and sturdiness to its structure while still minimizing its weight. Therefore, you do not have to worry much about sudden impacts or blows that might affect your ultrabook.

Lenovo also takes pride in this ultrabook’s embedded 3G connectivity. Unlike others, ThinkPad x1 Carbon allows you to connect to the internet anytime, anywhere. All you need is a mobile broadband and you are ready to go. The last, but definitely not the least feature that this ultrabook can offer is its rapid charging system. While using this gizmo, you do not have to bother about the draining battery since you can bring it back up to 80% in just 35 minutes. Isn’t it fast?

The Disadvantages

Since this is a newly released gadget, there isn’t much criticism regarding the ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook. If you will be able to have one, you might find something that will not go along with your taste, but rest assured that it is nothing major. Some people say that there are irregularities regarding the placement of the keys, especially the Ctrl and Fn.

Another concern for this gadget is its price range. The ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook is quite expensive, considering the remarkable features that this high-class gadget offers. It may not be practical to buy one, but it is not a bad inspiration either. This gizmo can offer you more than what is easily seen and rest assured that you would not regret buying this device. However, if you finally make up your mind in buying one, you better come up with the price that you have to pay.

Latest gadgets usually cost much than its forerunners, but keep in mind that new gadgets are a lot more advanced once it is released in public. If you consider the quality of the device, you will see that the price that you have to pay is totally worth it. If you would want a ThinkPad x1 Carbon Ultrabook but are still having second thoughts, you can do your own research and look up some of your preferences to see if this ultrabook will be able to satisfy your needs.

The Record-Breaking Heaviness of the Thinkpad x1 Carbon

There was great buzz around the discharge of the Thinkpad x1. It was the slimest Thinkpad ever made and placed Macbook pro to shame. Using the x1 Carbon, we can enjoy one more record busted - the lightest notebook. With a mass of 1,36 kg, the x1 Carbon is the least heavy 14” ultra-book up to date.

Just what does this product have that others don’t? The LED backlight will gratify each and every entrepreneur out there. It gives a crystal clear image at all times.

Furthermore, the electric battery concept is greatly revised. The electric battery can support the effective apparatus. Life time is the primary issue in this unit. The recharge time is as decreased as possible.

The minimal weight comes from a sequence of factors. Exactly what makes the product special is the co2 plating. The material is particularly picked for the light weight itoffers. Yet whenever implemented effectively, carbon technology can make positive that the notebook is lighter weight, while at the same time keeps as strong and unbreakable as it can be.

Of course, the mobile computer comes at a cost. This is very easily defined. It is tough to make the display screen and great image resolution it provides, low-cost. The battery pack is one more thing which raises the cost. It will require a while before the $1000 cost is lowered.

The Thinkpad x1 Carbon is certainly one of the greatest business solutions as of today. Using its durable construction and 3rd generation Intel I processor, it makes every dime expended, worthwhile. The unit will certainly be appreciated for a while.
